Your comfort and safety are our number one priority. You can be assured that before we ever send anyone to you for an interview, we’ll have put them through a rigorous and comprehensive screening process.
To be considered by Class Act Nannies in Miami, every applicant – whether nanny, housekeeper, baby specialist, elderly companion and on call babysitter, petsitter, chef and driver – completes a detailed application and submits both work and personal references.
We then conduct face-to-face interviews with every candidate. If they meet our stringent standards and we feel they are a viable possibility for a position, we contact all of their references and conduct detailed telephone interviews with previous employers. Only when we feel confident we have a candidate that will meet your family’s needs, will we bring you into the process, providing you with all the information you need to conduct an interview and make your own judgment. We’ll also provide a list of questions to help you with your interview, and we’ll stay in close contact with you throughout the process.
After you’ve spoken to a candidate’s references and gathered enough information to make a final decision we ask that you contact us. We will help make the arrangements between you and the candidate of your choice.
On the morning the candidate is to report to work we will order a background check which is conducted by an independent screening agency. This company will search for criminal records matching the applicant’s name and date of birth including case, sentencing, disposition, and other criminal-related records for all available jurisdictions in the United States. Criminal-related records include felony and misdemeanor arrests and convictions, pending convictions, social security number verification, known aliases, and driving record, if applicable. Also, sex offender registries of all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico will be checked.
As we said, it’s a comprehensive and rigorous screening. Your family deserves no less.
